Host We remodeled this home from the ground up to be a bachelorette AIRBNB and relaxing escape for large groups.
Here’s some things we do differently to provide a great experience at Cactus Blanco:
- Free pool heating to 85. We don’t charge extra for pool heating and keep it warm all year long for our guests since we know the pool is one of the main reasons you’re coming to town!
- Walking distance to a grocery store. Although a lot of AIRBNB’s are close to stores, they aren’t a quick walk. It makes a huge difference to take a quick 4 minute walk to get a Starbucks, pick up drinks, ice or food.
- Close to Old Town. We’re located in the Old Town Scottdale zip code of 85251. A lot of AIRBNBs are in 85257 which is south of Old Town, so you have longer/ more expensive Uber rides. We’re approx 1.2 miles from the entertainment district in Old Town Scottsdale where Bottled Blonde, HiFi and The W are located.
- No bunk beds. We don’t know about you but the idea of coming home after a long, super fun day and crawling up some stairs half-eyed doesn’t sound fun. So instead we opted for beautyrest mattresses. There are two king size beds and three queen size beds and a comfortable sleeper sofa if you have more than 10 guests. Cactus Blanco can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably.
- Consistent Quality. We routinely replace what needs to be refreshed, visiting the home weekly to ensure that is it up to par with what our guests expect.
- Oversized space. The kitchen and living space has an oversized open feel, with extra large couch, and last we counted about 20 different places you can sit.
- Double ovens. If you have a chef coming or are hosting a dinner, you have a chef’s kitchen equipped with dual ovens.
- Coffee Bar. we provide coffee mate original, french vanilla, and various teas in addition to K-cups for every stay.
- Safety is a focus. We have a well lit exterior, cameras on the front and side gates (no cameras in the backyard!), and numerous security signs.
- No carpet. Carpet feels like an allergy haven, so the entire home is tile.
- Drinique. Instead of worrying about a broken glass, or glass by the pool we’ve sourced high quality drinkware from “Drinique” so you can take your Rose’ from inside to outside.
